About the role

This is a key opportunity to join the Trust at a pivotal time in our growth. The Head of Compliance and Complaints will provide strategic leadership for Trust-wide compliance, policy management, risk assurance and complaints handling.

You will ensure statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations are met, oversee complaint investigations and reporting, and promote continuous improvement across the Trust. You will also support audit, inspection and regulatory review activity, helping to strengthen accountability, transparency and assurance across our schools and central services.

The successful candidate will lead the Trust’s compliance framework, maintain compliance calendars and risk registers, oversee policy development and review, and coordinate formal complaints processes. Working closely with Trust leaders, governors and school-based colleagues, you will ensure that compliance requirements are met while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and high standards.

This is a highly influential role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong professional judgement and the ability to translate complex legislative and regulatory requirements into practical operational processes. You will contribute directly to ensuring the Trust remains compliant, well governed and focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
