Location: Trust Central Office, Burlington House, Waterloo, Merseyside L22 0PJ
Salary Scale: NJC Scale Point 42-47 (£53,460-£59,005)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time –36 hours per week
Pope Francis Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Head of People to join our growing Central Team.
The Head of People will provide strategic and operational leadership for HR across the Trust, establishing a consistent, compliant, and sustainable people framework to support both current operations and future growth.
The postholder will act as the Trust’s principal professional adviser on all HR matters, leading the development of robust systems, policies, and processes. A key focus in the initial phase will be to standardise practices, address historical inconsistencies, and reduce organisational risk. Over time, the postholder will lead the transition to a devolved HR model supported by HR Business Partners.
This is a senior, influential position, working closely with the Trust Executive Team, headteachers, and governance bodies to embed high standards of people management and professional practice.
